The KLPA is dedicated to the preservation of Kolelemook Lake water quality and stewardship of its watershed and surrounding lake shore.
Suggested Membership Donations are:
New Watershed Fund: The KLPA Board has embarked on an ambitious plan to fund and complete a Watershed-based Management Plan (WMP) for Kolelemook Lake. Currently, we have enough funds to cover our anticipated obligation to complete the project. However, the KLPA Board has decided to establish a separate Watershed Fund to be used exclusively to address remediation issues recommended by the WMP AND provide an emergency fund to respond to any immediate issues that threaten our lake such as detection of invasive species or cyanobacteria blooms. A speedy response to any environmental issue is key to timely and cost effective remediation and having a fund to draw from will help immensely! So please consider adding a donation to our Watershed Fund in addition to your annal dues renewal.
